_ I think what makes a good logo is that the logo is creative but also not too complicated. It should be simple and related to the business or organization. Like the logo below, it is very simple but it is creative. The name of the logo is "Push the bottle" and there is a bottle with a hand and a button inside. There are two ways to look at this logo, one is plainly just a bottle. Another way is a hand pushing the button. It looking like you are "pushing the bottle".
What makes a bad logo?
_ This is an example of a bad logo. This logo is horrible because it does not relate to the business or organization. The logo hurt your eyes or make you loose focus and don't know where to look. It doesn't look interesting. It doesn't tell the audience what the company or organization is about. The logo is also very distorting.
5 rules for making a good logo:
1) Creative - a logo should be creative because you want the logo to stand out and look different from the other logos.
2) Audience - you need to know who your audience is so you could make the logo suitable for the audience.
3) Simple - the logo should be simple because if it's too complicated then the audience won't remember it. But it also shouldn't be too simple.
4) Colors - you should choose colors that go together well so the logo would look better.
5) Design - the design should be related to the business or the thing that the logo is representing for.
